Snow and Sleet From Texas to Maine, Flash Flood Warnings in the South

Freezing rain and snow will span from Texas to Maine, while much of the South and East will see thunderstorms and heavy rain with potential flash flooding, plus, snow for a broad section of the West and Northwest.

Freezing rain stretches from Texas to Maine

A band of freezing rain will span half the nation, beginning in central Texas and extending diagonally into southern Maine. At least 14 states Will be dealing with sleet including: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Flash flood warnings in the South, thunderstorms and rain extend to the Northeast

Thunderstorms and rain will stretch from Texas to Southeast and into the Northeast to southern Maine, while parts of the South are at risk for potential flash flooding.

Heavy rain will bring the potential for flash flooding over eastern Texas, northern Louisiana, eastern Oklahoma and northwestern Arkansas.

Thunderstorms will stretch across most of Texas, into Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, western Tennessee, southern Alabama, central Georgia in the Florida Panhandle.

Rain across the South, mid-South and Southeast extending into the mid-Atlantic and Northeast up to southern Maine.

Northwest & Northern Rockies: Snow for most of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, as well as western and central Montana, western Wyoming,

West: Snow for northwest Utah, the northern half of Nevada, and portions northern and eastern California along the Nevada border.

Southwest: Snow for southeastern New Mexico, as well as western and northern Texas.

Central US & Ohio Valley: Snow for portions of northern Texas, Oklahoma, Southeast Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan.

East: Snow for portions of New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
